Introducing Dynatect’s Powered Roll-Up Door for Vehicle Applications

powered door on delivery vehicle

Dynatect is pleased to introduce its Powered Roll‑Up Door, engineered specifically for delivery vehicles, utility vehicles, and emergency response vehicles. The system is designed to enhance operational safety, reduce installation complexity, and deliver reliable performance in demanding environments.

Enhanced Safety and Protection
The Powered Roll‑Up Door is equipped with three layers of motion‑control safety to ensure stable operation under various conditions. The door automatically detects obstructions such as cargo or personnel during closing and reverses to prevent injury or equipment damage. A built‑in anti‑pinch shield further protects users by covering the motor engagement area.

Space‑Saving, Low‑Interference Design
Dynatect’s compact design places the motor inside the roller, significantly reducing interference with vehicle components and cargo. Sensors and the automatic lock are integrated into the header area, eliminating wiring along the door legs. Installers can choose from multiple controller mounting positions to suit different vehicle layouts.

Secure Access Even Without Power
In the event of a vehicle power loss, the door remains securely locked through a mechanical automatic lock.

  • Operators inside the vehicle can manually release the lock when needed.
  • For external emergency access, Dynatect offers an optional keyed bypass, ensuring secure but flexible operation.

Flexible and Easy Control Options
The system includes a remote key FOB for convenient operation. It can also be controlled using hardwired switches placed at the door, dashboard, or other strategic positions. Standard automotive connectors simplify installation. For high‑volume OEM applications, Bluetooth or CAN communication options are available.

Built for High Performance
The Powered Roll‑Up Door is designed for long‑term durability in harsh automotive environments:

  • Travel speed: approx. 1 ft/sec
  • Duty cycle: 5 cycles per minute
  • Temperature range: –40°F to +140°F
  • Tested to exceed 100,000 cycles

This high‑performance product is manufactured in the USA and meets the reliability demands of modern transportation applications.
