ALC Apron Covers

Aluminum link apron (ALC) covers protect machine ways from contamination and coolant while reducing the risk of damage caused by involuntary contact.

ALC covers are constructed of precision, interlocking anodized aluminum extrusions which provide an attractive  and functional barrier. These protective covers can be rolled up into a roller or canister housing.

Aluminium Extrusion Profiles

Precision-anodized aluminium extrusions are positively interlocked with oil- and coolant-resistant polyurethane hinge elements. They feature a small roll-up radius and are corrosion-resistant. Visual openings (optional inspection windows) can be integrated as well.

The apron way covers are available with profile thicknesses of 5,5 mm, 8 mm, 14 mm, and 25 mm.

Our profiles are easy to extend, shorten, or replace if damaged.

Additionally, “Light” and “Heavy” versions are available. In these variants, the aluminium and/or steel segments are riveted onto a highly tear-resistant coated fabric.

Mounting Configurations

ALC Apron Way Covers can be rolled up in order to save space. Depending on size, the drive may be a spring motor, an electric or compressed-air motor.
