SC Series Cable Carrier

Gortrac® SC is a small, lightweight steel cable carrier with a 2” (50,8 mm) overall link height and curve heights from 7.5 – 13.25” (190,5 – 336,55 mm).  Suitable for mobile construction equipment and machine tools.

  • Inner Height: 0.62 – 0.75” (16 – 19 mm)
  • Curve Heights: 7.50” – 13.25” (191 – 337 mm)

Weight Load Chart

  • Find the weight you want to put in the cable carrier on the left side of the chart (additional load)
  • Then follow that row across until you get to the maximum unsupported length line.
  • Unsupported length (a.k.a. unsupported span) is the maximum distance possible between the moving end mounting bracket and the topmost link of the curve.
  • For a standard cable carrier mounted with the fixed end at center of travel, this length is 1/2 the system travel + 1 link pitch.
  • This length can be greater or shorter if the fixed end is offset mounted from the center of travel.
